Sad Day for Arsenal Fans

Henry to Barca

It was probably inevitable, with the departure of David Dein, Henry was left shocked. Henry has given 8 years of great service to the Gunners. Much of clubs success can be attributed to his goal scoring prowess.

A sad day that he's leaving English Football. A good day for Liverpool though as speculation will heat up even more now about the possibility of Samuel Eto'o joining the club. And with the signing of Fernando Torres imminent, we could have the best looking striking partnership in the Premier league withing a couple of weeks. *Fingers Crossed*

I think this is a good move for Arsenal however, the money they get will be used to build up the side.

Henry is a great player, but no one is bigger then the club. If his best years are past him, then it was a great sale for Arsenal. He is now an injury risk as well.

When he is healthy he is the best striker in the world, no one compares to his finishing ability, but we will see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves and comes back after next year. Henry is quite the spokesperson for Racism in football, and he is walking right into it in Spain. Time will tell.

I think an even sadder day for Arsenal fans would be if they bought Gerrard from Liverpool to dilute their midfield talent.
