I refuse to acknowledge this video after your disparaging remarks about Yakubu. The statistics don't lie:
Yakubu - 12 goals on a bad team
Gerrard - 7 goals on a good team
But wait....I forgot that Scott is a Liverpool fan. And for Liverpool, whomever scores the most goals doesn't matter. What matters to Liverpool is that their team "looked good playing" and "controlled the pace of the game." Which is largely the reason why Liverpool finishes third or fourth because when consulting the standings, it goes by wins and losses. And wins are determined by who scores the most goals.
Liverpool's season was Mediocre, and Gerrard's was even more so. Also Yakuba is a striker, and thus 12 goals isn't that great. Gerrard had 24 goals last year in the Midfield. It's all good. Liverpool are a great side, they win any way they can, its about the W, not how u get it. They are going to be making some major signings this summer. Samuel Eto'o, who is probably the best striker besides Henry is the main target. I'm not worried to much, we made another Champions league final and qualified for the CL next year. It's been a successful year.
Ah, the sweet smell of acknowledged mediocrity. Maybe you should switch over Scott, Chelsea is where it's at. Like you said "its about the W, not how u get it" Drogba finishes. Get with the winners. Maybe you should hop even further, Man U was pretty strong this year.
