This pictures symbolizes the last time Liverpool met AC Milan in the Champions League, and what a match it was. Going 3-0 down after the first half, the Reds fought back courtesy of Brilliance by Steven Gerrard, which saw him score the first of three but set up the third goal thanks to a penalty called on him from a foul by Gennaro Gattuso. Liverpool went on to win in Penalty Kicks and that Final is known as the best European Cup Final ever.
On May 23rd, two days before Liverpool's triumph 2 years ago, Liverpool and AC Milan will put it all on the line once more. Liverpool's road to the final included taking first place in their group, and beating defending champions Barcelona and PSV and their fellow Premier League team Chelsea. AC Milan took first place in their group followed up by a narrow win against Celtic and Bayern Munich, and trounced Manchester United in the second leg 3-0 to win 5-3 on aggregate.
This Final will have much hype, Milan will be looking to exact revenge for the memories they still have of Istanbul. Liverpool will be looking to win in a more convincing fashion and not leave it very late. On May 23rd, will it be We Won It Six Times? The Manchester fans couldn't bear that one. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!

I suppose the only comfort for Man U fans is knowing they are a better team than Liverpool. Crushing them in the league and beating them home and away - nothing more needs to be said there.
I wonder how many times Man U could win the CL if they gave up halfway throught the Prmeiership?
They wouldnt, look at the last two years when they werent involved in the race because chelsea took over the league.
If i remember correctly, they made just out of the group stage one year, and last year they didnt make it out of the group stage. Heck, they hadn't won any silverware those years either and being only mediocre in the league, just like Liverpool.
Some people really need to look to the past to form comments, your comments about my team reflect your teams performances in the last couple of years. Man U can't win the champions league because they don't know how to beat other Great European sides. Maybe instead of bashing Liverpool, they should learn something from them to benefit their own side in years to come.
